Weight Loss Challenge – Summer Meltdown
Our Newly Crowned Champion Challengers Below: standing between Maude and Tom Root are: Scott, Tonya, Jama and Kelly who were BIG WINNERS by being the “Biggest Losers” and picked up some prizes and cash worth over $800.00 for their weight and inch loss achievements over the 12-Week Challenge. These winners lost 15% of their body weight, lost 4 – 7 inches off their waistlines and reported increased energy. The group that started with over 60 people finished with 44 contestants who lost over 500 lbs and have improved their health and vitality.
In order to inform, educate and encourage our community to regain and to sustain good health through better nutrition and preventive health practices, we facilitate and conduct regular Weight Loss Challenges. These sessions help the participants to get the information, support and accountability that is needed to accomplish the goals and get the results that they want. One of the past participants observed, “It’s so easy to do this – I don’t know why I didn’t get started earlier. But, without this structure of support and accountability, I don’t know how I would have done it!” Many of our present competitors are saying, the information, support and accountability is JUST what we needed!”
The Summer Meltdown Weight Loss Challenge will begin on July 6 at the Belle Johnston Community Center, 1000 Johnston Drive, 28134 in the South Charlotte Area of Pineville. The Winners (“Biggest Losers”) will be announced and given fabulous prizes. Our next all-new, 12 week sessions will begin on July 6th at the Belle Johnston Center. These sessions will be held on Tuesdays: 5 PM to 6 PM; and, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Both sessions will be filled soon.
